Double win at NHF Awards

What We Are Proud Of Award

GreenSquare has triumphed, winning the top prize at two separate awards ceremonies held last night (Weds 29 June) in Taunton and Brighton.

The What We Are Proud Of Awards - run by the National Housing Federation - celebrate outstanding projects run by housing associations across the country.

Westlea's entry - profiling the success of the Whatever! and What Now! employment experience and training projects coordinated by Lisa Wroe - has won the overall South West 'What We Are Proud Of' award. The entry was supported by a video, which can be seen here:

OCHA's entry - profiling the success of project work led by Rose Hill Community Worker Fran Gardner - has won the overall South East 'What We Are Proud Of' award. Fran was also announced as the winner in the 'Outstanding Individual' category. The entry was supported by a video, which can be seen here:

Delegates attending the awards dinners, held in Brighton for the South East awards and in Taunton for the South West awards, got to vote for their preferred winner for the overall award on the night and selected GreenSquare projects to win at both events.

Having been declared regional winners, our two projects are now both shortlisted for the national winner of the 'What We Are Proud Of Award' - meaning they will compete head to head at the National Housing Federation's Annual Conference, in September 2011.
