Introducing Tidestone... the newest member of the GreenSquare group

An event held on Friday 28 January marked the launch of Tidestone Limited, the construction arm of GreenSquare.
Tidestone delivers high-quality, sustainable, and value-for-money design and build services.
“Tidestone’s mission is to get value for money within GreenSquare by driving down the build cost of our new homes,” said Ernie Randell, Tidestone's construction manager. “We aim to hit all of our performance targets centred on time, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction while rising to the challenge of meeting our environmental and community obligations.”
The launch event took place at one of Tidestone’s first build projects for GreenSquare, at Frome Road in Southwick. This scheme already demonstrates an element of community commitment – the entrance hoardings feature a montage of colourful artwork designed and produced by pupils from local Southwick Primary School to raise awareness of sustainable design and development.
Like its parent company, Tidestone has strong green credentials; each site that Tidestone develops is surveyed to identify specific opportunities to reduce waste, re-use or recycle materials delivered to the site, or, where possible, salvaged from existing structures within the site.
Tidestone will also be participating in 4ward2work, GreenSquare’s local employment and skills initiative that seeks to use the development process to bring about long-term change and benefits for the local community. The initiative ensures that developments provide apprenticeship opportunities for young people who want to learn a trade within the construction industry.
In addition to the Southwick scheme, Tidestone is currently working on developments in Corsham, Hilperton, and Calne.
